We still heat with oil. What should we know before switching to gas?
New Jersey asks the installer to confirm that the existing chimney is lined and sized for the new gas appliance before the job is signed off. A flue built for an oil burner is often the wrong size, so it pays to have it checked early in the planning.
We burn wood all winter. How often should the chimney be swept?
